Image to Embroidery tips

Getting the best digitizing results

  • Use vector SVG or high-res PNG (300 dpi+) for best output
  • Flat graphic designs digitize better than photos
  • Aim for under 8 colors in the source design
  • Designs at 50 mm and larger produce cleaner stitch paths

File formats

Which format should I download?

  • PES — Brother machines (most common for home use)
  • DST — Tajima (commercial shops and industrial machines)
  • JEF — Janome machines
  • VP3 — Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff machines
